Google SketchUp+Massive Black

During these days, our limits between 2D and 3D world seems to be lifted off.

Many 2D artists use the benefit of using 3D application to develop multi scenes from one concept. They can choose the best angle, they can set the point of view and the perspective will still be correct. (Though personally this method still only best used for geometrical objects).

3D artists are also need the 2D skills to paint great textures. They can now even paint in 3D applications such as zBrush. Since I haven’t got any chance to study 3D, I can’t say a lot.

So, what I have here now is the promotion video from Google SketchUp in partner with Massive Black. It shows how the people in Massive Black use the potential of SketchUp to the max.

Anyone interested to use the same method?

never thought that it could possibly done in SkecthUp. but then again, perhaps i’m just too lazy to make something as complicated as those tanks. but i know i can make a detailed house with it.

library… that’s what it’s for :D~ just plug on evermade objects here and there to the basic form.
    i think that’ll do.
